Dean & David startet in Munich and is slowly spreading in Germany. I wish they were spreading a little faster. They offer good food like salads, curries, sandwiches & wraps, fresh juices, smoothies and shakes, good coffee and some pastry like muffins and lemon cake. Some of the food is prepared fresh, some is ready to eat. They try to follow some slow food principles like using local & seasonal products. In my opinion they should also use more organic products.
I tried a curry and I think it could have been a little spicier. There is a little spice bar so you can add some if you want. The muffin and coffee I had was good. I absolutely recommend the smoothies and shakes, they where delicious!
This is the only Dean&David store in Bremen. I like the interior, its bright, clean an simple design. In summer they also provide for outside sitting.
The service has always been friendly to me, and most of the times I was being served very quick. Since some of the food is prepared fresh and the store seems to be understaffed sometimes, I had to wait a little longer to place my order on one or two occasions. Especially around noon it can get a little crowded.
