When I was studying abroad in Berlin for four weeks, I was fortunate enough to live in very close walking proximity to this lovely ice cream parlor. My roommate and I loved this place and their extensive menu of yummy ice cream, Spaghetti Eis, and sundaes. We came here several times during our short stay in Berlin, and were always greeted with friendly workers (who didn't mind our bad German), a different selection of ice cream flavors each day, and reasonable prices.
Also a tip: you can either eat your ice cream at the shop or walk down the street to Viktoria-Luise-Platz and enjoy it there!
Great spot for gelato on a beautiful street in Berlin just down the street from Viktoria-Luise-Platz! Varied flavors and delicious gelato! Such a treat for dessert. We had just eaten a delicious dinner at Schoenberger Weltaterne just across the street and wanted something sweet to eat as we walked back home! Viktoria Eis hit the spot! Great gelato, great service.
We wanted to go somewhere new, and since I happen to know this street relatively well, we walked from our flat to this place to get some ice cream yesterday. It was a hot day, and therefore there were plenty of people wanting to get some.
They are relatively cheap, just 1 EUR per scoop, and the scoops are relatively big. I got peppermint ice cream, and it was quite delicious. Creamy and cold, very good to the taste.
I won't say they have the best ice cream in town, but they are definitely good enough to give 4 stars. I just wish they had more exciting flavors. As I see it, the only non-traditional flavor they have is the goat cheese ice cream. I'll probably try that next time.
