Supertoller Laden!
Ansonsten, macht bitte weiter so... :)
Everything I have tried there so far has been fantastic: the tea/drinks, the lunch, the cakes, and the atmosphere inside <3 The lunch is a bit pricey, but amazing!
Amazing atmosphere, lovely staff and the High Mountain Oolong I had was perfect!
Will hopefully have time for a meal next time!
Such a relaxing space!
With my family wee had a super meal and I'm so pleased I have met Sandeh the creator of the restaurant.
Wee will meet again I promise !
Definitely worth a visit. Small, cosy and a great selection of teas and drinks.
Awesome little spot run by lovely people. Thanks. Loved the tea ceremony.
Mein Lieblingscafè/-teehaus in München 🤗
Bester Tee und leckerster Kuchen weit und breit!
My favorite place to meet with people <3 Delicious teas, vegan pies, cozy atmosphere
Bin sehr begeistert :top Tee, leckerstes veganes Essen, köstlicher Kuchen-sehr netter Service
Äußerst lecker in sehr angenehmen Ambiente und tollem Publikum.
Besuche euer Teehaus immer wieder gern, wenn ich in München bin. Sympathisch, Sauber, Lecker und Frisch. Liebe Grüße aus Berlin
I visited Tushita Teahouse at least a half dozen times during my recent trip to Munich. Sandeh and her team are simply phenomenal! Love them! Great, positive energy. :)
Tushita has a casual vibe, busy at dining times and super chill in between. Even when busy, Sandeh and her crew were helpful to explain and converse in English. That made sampling the extensive tea selection, fare and deserts relatively easy. Everything was very high quality and thoughtfully prepared.
Make a visit (or several) if you are into a tasty and nourishing experience for body, mind and spirit. I intend to stay nearby and visit often on any subsequent travel to Munich.
A gorgeous tea house in town. They have a variety of teas from around the world and they make daily specials of different hot and cold drinks as well as one or two options for small meals. This place is about tea and if tea is not your thing you will not find much else here.
They have a 26 page tea menu with green, white, black, oolong just to name a few and there is a reasonably good description of each of the varieties in the menu. Unfortunately it's all in German. The staff speak good English and quite helpful with explanations, just in case you are unsure or, don't understand the meaning.
They have a ton of nice tea pots and cups and all kinds of tea related accessories in the shop you buy and, you can also buy teas, I think. I love tea specially Asian teas and I had one of the Chinese varieties of ooolong and it was a wonderful cup of tea. The others who were with me had the smoothie special (it's more like a lemonade than a smoothie) and it was made to order and they loved it. The place was packed when we arrived and there was a whole table of Japanese ladies having tea (a big cultural thing in Japan).
A great find in Munich for tea lovers. I will definitely be back here to work through the 26 page menu ;-))
Very cozy place with a wide range of tea from white to black tea and even Matcha teas and drinks
Fantastic food (vegan of course), stellar service, and even better tea!
Forget the traditional food and stop by for a soothing atmosphere!
Great energy, great food. Probably the only meal we had in Germany without beer but absolutely mandatory for any vegan in Munich. We had the bowl (so yummy and filling), their take on the piña colada and matcha latte ( I'll never be able drink Starbucks' green tea soy latte after this).
Ended the meal with the chocolate avocado cake. Double yummers!
A friend took me to this place for a tea and it's all good!
I love tea time in general and all the atmosphere that is linked to it.
I can say that this place is a peaceful heaven for the 3 times I went there for a tea. The decor is japanese inspired: wood and pale colours. Different kind of tables, seats are available and also a terrace when the weather is nice!
My only cold comment would be about the service on the terrace. When it is crowded you may have to go to the counter to order, but in general the waiters are nice.
Now about the taste experience: I only went there for tea and cakes but I saw some other tables ordering some main dishes. They look very healthy and maybe i will try one the next time.
Teas are quite expensive, but they have a very nice Matcha that you don't find everywhere else. Also, I try a green tea and a fruity one: I wasn't disappointed! It was very good.
The cakes are just divine!! Seriously, I didn't know that vegan cakes could be that good.
The plus: You can buy some porcelain cups and bags of tea directly there.
Love this place, with the variety of teas on offer, as well as the ambience. A lovely place to bring your friends for a nice relaxed cup of hot Asian tea :)
Their sweet dessert offerings are always interesting but the taste is almost always a tad disappointing. They taste too healthy (and I'm not one to complain usually about that!)!!! Otherwise it's a top place, highly recommended!
After endless days of meat dairy and carbs, I am so glad to have found Tushita Teehaus. The food is amazing, the tea is yummy and best of all, free wi-fi!
We ordered the special of the day, Indian themed rice bowl with raita, marsala, and plums. I have to be honest I didn't think it would be good with the plums, but I was so wrong. This dish is so good I wish I had room for 2 bowls. We also ordered the seiten sandwich, it was nice but I would get the rice bowl again next time.
I had the early gray rooibos and my friend had the chai, then for desert we got the apple strudel which they added this blended soy cream with cinnamon on top, sehr gut!
Our server was extremely friendly, he even took the time to write down a couple of places in Germany that we should checkout. I really loved my experience at Tushita Teehaus, I would definitely go back again before I leave Munich.
This place is a marvel. For one thing, it's beautifully decorated and intimate, yet casual as well. It's extremely affordable and everything here is vegan and home-made. It's also one of the only vegan places that's open in Munich before 11 a.m. As I had a seven hour, morning layover in the city, I was lucky that Tushita was open to give me a great meal and cup of tea before I headed back to the US.
I ordered a number of delicious items. Given that it was about 9 a.m. when I went, the breakfast options were limited to a variety of baked goods, tea and one phyllo-pocket. I had the phyllo-pocket (€2.50) which was a wonderfully soft, buttery thing filled with seitan, herbs, carrots and more. It was savory and filling. I would eat one of these a day, if I could (for lunch and dinner, the menus change regularly, but you'll usually be able to get some kind of rice plate with tofu).
I also had a piece of German bread (I forget the name, but it started with "brez" or something) (€1.50) and was shaped liked a croissant and covered in sesame seeds. It was a traditional German product, but home-made with spelt flour. I love it when you can get otherwise off-limit "traditional" food, modified to be vegan (in this case, it was even better, as it was made with a healthy and unusual type of flour as well). The bread was soft and surprisingly hefty---it could have been a meal in itself.
Next I had a piece of chocolate rosemary cake (€2.50) and the cafe owner threw in a free piece of carrot-ginger cake as well. Both were delicious and I appreciated that they weren't overly sweet. They were perfectly moist and dense and the limited use of sugar allowed for the main flavors (namely chocolate-rosemary, and ginger-carrot) to manifest themselves fully.
Lastly I had a cup of home-made chai with soy milk (€1.50). I love any place that creates their own recipe for chai, so props to Tushita for that. I think the brew could have been slightly stronger (perhaps more ginger), but this was otherwise a smooth and refreshing drink, available hot or cold.
Tushita also offers at least a couple dozen more loose-leaf, gourmet tea options from around the world. They have a refined selection of Japanese greens and Indian blacks in particular.
The service was extremely friendly and gracious. I hope that every city in Europe will have a place like Tushita, because it's a gem in the vegan world.
I had a really nice vegetarian rice bowl for lunch and topped it off with a little apple cake. What a great find in Munich.
For tea lovers. Great selection of all kinds of teas and other beverages. (No coffee!)
They have some food on the menu. It's all vegan and good. The place is selling all kinds of asian tea accessories like pots, mugs, loose tea, andandand
This, as the name says, is more of a teehouse than a restaurant. Their food selection is very limited. For dinner, they have a bowl consisting of a few different items. Though the range of choices was small the food was very tasty and seemed pretty healthy. If you're ravenous you'll probably want to snack on something in addition. Friendly staff, and not a problem even with my broken German. The ambiance is lovely.
Only reason for the one star off is due to the limited food choices (but hey, it isn't called a restaurant...).
This small vegan oasis is a delight. We had a scrumptious bowl of a vegan medley of food and then three different vegan desserts. There was one dessert, a raspberry torte that was, according to my spouse, the best dessert he has ever had. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Jerome, an expert in tea, prepared the most interesting and wonderful tea services for us--explaining how to brew the tea and serve it. The Sencha green tea was the most delicious I have ever had. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful. An absolute must to visit.
Die Auswahl is riesig.
