Great ceviche! Tasty drinks!
Service was very friendly.
I've never been to Peru, but I believe I would recommend it to a peruvian :)
Spent a little more than 20€ with drinks!
I most certantly will come back!
A colleague of mine whose wife happens to be Peruvian suggested I try this place. So a friend and I decided to go here. He has been here a few times already and quite likes it as well.
It's not a huge place and has seating for about 25-30 ppl. It's dimly lit and cosy, perhaps a little too cosy for my liking as when the place filled up it was a bit cramped. It also got too warm and we had to end up leaving early :-(
The food here is excellent. The Cevice starter was excellent as was the spicy seafood stew I had for main. The food was packed with flavours and had a good kick to it. Rice and boiled or fried potato is served with the courses and, the Cevice also had steamed sweet potato slices that was delicious. The Pisco sour is also excellent here and, made from good Peruvian pisco. The menu is not huge but there are enough choices for all including vegetarians. The cocktail list is also pretty decent with some traditional Peruvian cocktails and beer.
English is well spoken here and the staff are quite friendly but the service was a little slow. All in all a pleasant evening and if it was not that warm we would have ended up staying instead of leaving straight after dinner.
I would happily come back here for the food. Peruvian food has gained global recognition in recent years and, it is well deserved. If you like food that is made from fresh ingredients and packs a punch, you will like it here.
It is a small venue, but they provides great food and service.
I was there with a group of 15, and they coped quite well with a group that big. I tried the Anticuchos and the Ceviche and both were delicious. The Pisco Sour was also very good!
I think it is a tad expensive, but the quality is high enough to justify it.
I will definitely visit again.
