Excellent service & super delicious original Thai food ���
Kleines Restaurant in München in dem sehr gute Thailändische Küche geboten wird.
Eine große Auswahl an Speisen mit verschiedenen Fleischsorten (Hühnchen, Schwein, Rind, Krokodil, Strauß) stellt jeden zufrieden.
Leider ist das Restaurant klein, so dass eine Reservierung empfehlenswert ist. Oder man geht erst gegen 21:30 Uhr zum Essen hier her.

Love Lotus!! They make really delicious Thai food.ybfavorite is their Tom kah gain soul and pad see ew gai noodles.
That place is amazing! so cute and chilled. the atmosphere is very good and the food is awesome! we started with spring rolls like on the picture and they were the best spring rolls I had in whole munich. after that a tofu thai curry :) soo good! the portion looks small at the beginning but it turned out to be too much :D
So finally my first review because this restaurant deserves it! I had the Tom Kha Gai as a starter and the Panaeng Gai curry as main dish. It was absolutely amazing. The curry had a beautiful taste and the veggies weren't overcocked.
The ambient was nice, comfy and clean.
They played good music as well.
The waitress was friendly and answered all my annoying questions as well.
If you are in Munich even like us just for one day, take a meal at the Lotus Lounge

When I dropped by a friend's place at 3PM, he warned me that my tardiness might cause us to go hungry given that most of the restaurants in the area had already closed for lunch. After a long stroll we discovered that Lotus was still open and, despite being the only customers at that hour, happy to have us.
Service was fast, and our waitress was attentive while not hovering over us while we perused the menu. I chose an order of fried wontons for us both, the Tom Kha Tofu soup, and a Pad Thai chicken main. The wontons were fried ever so delicately that they flaked apart perfectly. The Tom Kha Tofu soup had great coconut milk consistency while the tofu and mushrooms were still good and hard to provide something to sink your teeth into. Finally, the Pad Thai was a bit bland, but the delivery of a spice tray to allow us to season our lunch solved that.
The only thing I'd consider a service miss is that our initial waitress was checking out while we were eating so we paid the bill with her, but her replacement did little else bit smile and greet us upon her arrival. So - no coffee/tea/etc.
Oh - and this may have been the first Thai restaurant I've been to that doesn't served Thai Iced Tea. Odd...
Still - this is a great lunchtime spot, and I'm sure to be back next time I'm in München again.
Awesome, awesome and awesome. We were looking for a brief respite from traditional German fare and stumbled across the Lotus Lounge. There were three of us and we each ordered something unique intentionally.
We had soups for starters and all three were excellent each with powerful spices but none overwhelming. We then dove into dinner with a duck and two chicken dishes. Can't say enough about how flavorful the dishes were.
Slight setback in that our waitress didn't speak English but we managed and she was very friendly and courteous.
Highly recommend this gem.
Best pad Thai we have ever had! We loved the service, the food and the location, if you like Thai food this is the place to go!
Had a birthday dinner with 10+ friends here and had the best time! I'm from Thailand and wanted to show my friends some Thai food so I was a little nervous at first about the food not being authentic enough because I found the restaurant online and have never been there myself, but I was very happy with everything.
The service was amazing. The staff were very accommodating for our big group, and gave very good recommendations on the dishes and the portions. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. The food was pretty authentic and extremely delicious. My personal favourite was Tom Kha Gai. I told them it was my birthday and they brought out small birthday special drinks on the house for me and all my friends as well.
I pretty much had a perfect evening and would definitely go back again!
This is my new favourite Thai place in Munich! I have generally avoided Thai food in Munich as i was unable to really find a place that had the fresh quality and real flavour. Until i found Lotus Lounge.
Husband and i went to Lotus for a curry dinner two weeks ago. It is a cute, quaint little eatery in the Isarvorstadt area. The food and drinks are well priced, and the quality is more superior of other more expensive thai eateries.
The large portions are fresh and so tasty. The curry i had was light and i did not have a heavy taste after wards. The food was a bit slow - but we don't mind that. But if you are out for a quick dinner then i may avoid - and come when you have time for a freshly cooked thai meal.
Can't wait to go back to Lotus lounge again.
Small, good, really friendly athmosphere and first of all, one of the best thai food in munich. I like when the "spicy is spicy". You can even ask for extra hot, if you got tongue for it. The menu is easy and really a big choice of dishes, all really nice. They even have crocodile and ostrich.
Very good thai I must say. Ordered the Panag curry duck which was amazing!! crispy and served on top of the curry as opposed to mixed with it. Good call.
Our server was the sweetest too.
Ambiance is cozy and comfy. I'd totally go back next time I'm in Munich.

Ich war lange auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant wo noch WIRKLICH gutes Essen gibt! Hier bin ich endlich fündig geworden!
Die Karte hat viele Speisen zu bieten, jedoch ist jedes einzigartig! Von einfacheren Reisgerichten bis zu Exotischen und wunderschön angerichteten Besonderheiten.
Nicht einfach Reis in fertigsoße! Hier wird noch selbst gekocht.
Auch wurde ich sofort nach betreten des Restaurants von einem Kellner angesprochen OBWOHL der Laden sehr voll war! Sehr aufmerksames Personal!
Die Bestellung und Bezahlung war auch sehr freundlich. Ich bin wirklich sehr zufrieden.
