Stopped in for lunch after installing Yelp to find something to eat. The other positive reviews are spot on. My burger was awesome and my wife's veggie burger was also great. They use local suppliers and the quality is amazing. We are planning to stop by at least once more!
They do seem to specialize in burgers, but also do steaks and salads. They looked good on the other tables, so am planning to give those a shot.
Our server was helpful and attentive. We ate outside, which was lovely even with the weather being hot.
We came with a baby and a small dog and everything went smoothly.

Located down a quiet side street off of the main cathedral square, the Dom restaurant has been serving great burgers and steaks for 11 years. A relaxed atmosphere attracted us there on a moderately warm, rain-free afternoon. The outdoor seating is in front of the main entrance/dining room which is located in a historical building housing an Indian restaurant and dance studio in addition. Staff is polite and professional, service was quick and also relaxed. You can really hang out here. There were families and couples with dogs as well as a lone student or two drowning in books and aperol spritz.
I tried a vegetarian burger called the Aphrodite, perhaps called that for its ingredients which include Greek feta and a creamy sour cream, red peppers sliced and marinated in chili oil. All burgers come with thick-cut fresh fries. You can also get sweet potato fries instead for an additional 2€. My husband had a fish burger which minces smoked fish and white fish together, he loved it. There's a decent drinks menu too featuring local beer and wine and two homemade ice teas I regret not trying. The indoor seating looks cool too, but on a nice day, you can't beat that outer space overlooking Konstanz's oldest hair salon (gorgeous building) and Tudor-style (Landhaus Stil) building to the right.
This restaurant has seating inside. Outside seating is available during nice weather. We visited on a Tuesday night and were asked if we had made reservations. We hadn't but they had a table for us. As the evening went on, the restaurant became very busy and I can see why reservations are a good idea.
We ordered three different burgers, all were tasty. You have the option of ordering a small or large sized burger. I went with the small and it was still very filling. The burgers come with fries, or you can substitute sweet potato fries at an additional cost. You can also request your burger cooked rare, medium or well done. I requested medium well, but that wasn't an option.
The service was friendly and somewhat fast. There aren't English menus, but the waitstaff are able to help enough with the translations. I would enjoy visiting again and recommend this restaurant.
