The best pizza place I have ever been to ! Very fresh and tasty , authentic Italian pizza and very delicious wine ! I absolutely recommend to everyone and will always come back :) thank you for the amazing service :)
Kleine Pizzeria.
The best pizza we have had! Small place, super busy and worth the wait! The flavors are AHmazing!!!
A delicious starters: vitello tonnato e antipasto misto. And a top pizza. Fresh ingredients, well cooked and truly digestable. And the kindness of the staff make you really feel at home. Dusseldorf is lucky to have you there. Compliments guys! Hold on!
Man muss reservieren, sonst kriegt man oft keinen Tisch.
Awesome italian pizza and realy nice service.
The pizzas are really excellent here. Like in south Italy: Crisp, thin and very delicious, made with passion. There is a small, but very good, selection of wines available. From good house-wine to excellent bottle wines. Everything is very reasonable priced. Salvatore and his team are always very friendly.
FOOD & DRINKS
Let's get straight to the pizza. I ordered the thin crust pizza "Calabrese" which comes with tomato, mozzarella and spicy Italian salami. I think the heat level was just right for a pizza. I personally wouldn't mind some red chili pepper flakes on my pizza but if you want it more spicy there is Italian hot oil available.
The tomato slices were a bit odd. They were cut unevenly. Some slices were quite thick, others were thin. And the tomatoes didn't really taste that special. I would have preferred a few chunks of really fruity, sweet and tart quality tomatoes.
The tomato sauce was actually perfect for me. It wasn't too tart. Very well balanced and enjoyable.
The pizza crust was done very well too. Thin, light and crispy towards the edges.
Was it the best pizza I've eaten? Definitely not. Is it a good pizza at a very fair price? Very much so. The pizza you get is really large! Come here hungry or share it with your friends.
And one more thing. They serve the cola in small glass bottles and not from a 2L plastic bottle. Thank you.
SERVICE
I was able to watch the service while eating my pizza which is something I always do. I want to see how they treat other customers and behave while they are not serving anyone. I can say that the young Italian woman who took my order was really nice and always had a smile.
Compared to that the owner looked a bit grumpy but that's fine. I was able to watch him treat pretty female customers with special care by giving away some alcohol with their take away order.
To be honest, I felt a bit neglected. I even had to ask for my bill twice. When the place is busy, they can easily loose track of just one guy sitting in the corner alone with his pizza.
ATMOSPHERE
I choose to sit next to the counter close to the window. I don't think you want to sit there if you want a relaxed atmosphere and Italian flair. The dining room itself is nice. It has an old Italian restaurant charm.
I just happen to pick that specific table for observation and it helped me with the lightning for my pictures.
RATING
Was there any kind of excitement? No. But if you just crave some good pizza this is a spot worth recommending. Especially for the price you pay. Which is also the reason why this location is getting a four star rating.
Pretty solid authentic Italian thin-crust style pizza with fresh ingredients and a pretty consistent product. I enjoyed my experience at Pizzeria Romantica.
Really great pizzeria that's located in pempelfort. They also serve assorted pastas and other Italian appetizers, but definitely go here for the pizza. It's pretty small in terms of the size of the restaurant, but the family who owns it is really friendly and very welcome to all guests who dine there. The pizza is also massive so it can easily be shared by two people!
So ehen u call they may not understand pure German. U may have to mix in a few English words to be understood if u don't know Italian. But the pizzs is always delucious, delivery is fast and friendly. It's also cozy for eating in. Salads are kind of boring though. Oh, and their little pizza bread rolls that they serve wit lh buttef are really yummy.
