From the outside, this restaurant looks a lot less elegant than what it turns out to be once inside. Thanks to Eberstadt's slightly unusual approach to one-way-streets, we had to circle a couple of times before we found a parking space. Nearer would have been nicer, not least because of the slight drizzle. However, the cordial welcome warmed us up in no time. The whole time, service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive. This is not a pizza place, but rather a slightly upmarket Italian restaurant. We felt like meat and both chose pieces of fillet, he beef, me lamb. Both were done to perfection, if slightly bloodier than ordered. The beef was rare, juicy and tender. The three lamb fingers literally melted on my tongue. It hurt to send the third one back almost untouched, but my stomach was filled to capacity. My only complaint, albeit a very slight one, would be for more fantasy with the side dishes. An excellent, smooth grappa on the house was the final touch to a delightful evening.
