This is slightly pricey, but if you come with the right frame of mind, then perhaps it's more a positive experience.
Don't go here thinking it'll be an ethnic restaurant. No. It is inspired by Peruvian cuisine, but they are a very modern interpretation of it. It's actually perfect for a date, though the location and the interior can be more hipster than romantic. The food, however, is amazingly mind-blowing.
There's something with the textures, not just the tastes, that makes me go wow with the food in this place. I was there with two other friends, and between the three of us, we shared two ceviches, two hot dishes, a side dish, and two desserts. Unfortunately, they just delivered the dishes as they came along, so that meant that the side dish we ordered was somehow the final thing that was delivered, before we decided that we wanted desserts as well. In any case, we enjoyed ourselves.
For the amount of food you get, it is a little pricey, but I must say, that each of the pieces that arrived to our table were very visually arresting.
A little bit pricey but very delicious inventive food. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the hefty price tag.
The food is great at Chicha. Literally great. Be sure to try the beef, the risotto and of course the ceviches. Their Yuka fries is also very tasty. The cocktails are amazing and the vibe is good.
