I would love to love this place, but unfortunately I cannot do more than just like it.
See, the interior design and the ambience is great. It's the attached restaurant of a swanky minimalist hotel, so there's this great style that accompanies the location. I also would like the call out the great attentive wait staff, who took care of us during our dinner visit.
What I find lacking is the menu. It's slightly lacklustre, and there aren't many interesting items on offer. It feels like it's just glorified bar food: there's club sandwich, there's a burger, there's a salad, and some other items. The choice of menu items don't really tell me the personality of the chef, and it doesn't give the message that I should be there for the food. Rather, it's just a restaurant that happens to be there in case hotel guests are hungry.
They have great cocktails, though.
For that I give only 4 stars, mostly because everything else they were doing correctly. I'd love to go back, but most probably it won't be for the food.
