In a word - a vietnamese/sushi place in Charlottenburg with nice ambience and a huge aquarium with cool fish.
Didn't really blow my mind but well prepared dishes with awesome avocado lassi!
Extended version for the brave- we arrived here to enjoy a nice dinner because we were too lazy to cook, the place seemed rather romantic but maybe because the aquarium light is too bright and fluorescenty it kinda damages the ambience.
Not sure if it's because I was tired but the menu was a bit messy to me, it was not divided right and not too many options, nothing looked too interesting, it took me a few minutes to decide what I want.
The starters however looked very interesting, just wasn't hungry enough
We went for curry and peanut sauce dishes, both with tofu.
The food was served rather quick and it was well prepared, the sauce was a bit watery but it tasted good, a lot of veggies (which I have to my friend) and a lot of tofu- the dish was in a decent size.
What did surprise me a lot was the avocado lassi, I was curious but never brave to order one myself - and my friend did, this is really good!
You should give it a try :)
The aquarium really extends your stay, we just realized we were staring at it and not eating hahaha
So make sure you chew every now and then!
I love, LOVE, LLLLOOOOVVVVEEE this place. Not only is the food delish but it's not insanely priced. The decor is very chill. Cozy, even. The staff is friendly and helpful. The chefs work fast and efficiently, so one doesn't haveta wait FOR-EV-ER! The location is also a dream and not too loud. Eating inside or out, this place is REAL GEM!
Delicious food!! Extremely tasty sushi rolls of all kinds. Big choice of sushi sets. Didn't try other dishes but plum wine and jasmin tea are very good as well.
Nice big aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. Good place for both, romantic date and family/friends dinner. Highly recommended
