There's something about these fast-food Vietnamease places that makes me come back again and again, maybe it's the MSG or maybe it's just tasty. Anyhow, if i'm in the area, I guess Van Hoa will be one of my first choices. the place is pretty crowded at almost all times. The menu is small [about 5 dishes] with changing daily dishes, which are usually the ones I choose from - and i'm never, never disappointed. Usually go for summer rolls or chicken corry dishes. but I guess the rest is just as good. Fast service, professional staff [quick and thoughtful to my weird requests], good food and great prices - what else do I need? Oh yes, these lovely spicy chopped chillis which just make every dish better than what it is. If you feel like treating yourself don't skip one of the natural fruit shakes - the asian places know how to get it done. The bill? you probably won't pass the 10 euro barrier with a drink. awesome.

Wonderful food at cheap price. But Cash ONLY. The local Saigon beer has a good depth that really brings out the richness of the green curry. A must have. The pho is big.

Came here for my first time today! Servers are very nice and friendly - although they said some of the food wasn't spicy and it was. I got rice noodles with shrimp and it was tasty but the best part was the fried rolls I got as an appetizer - AMAZING! Too tasty I could have gotten a couple servings of that as my main course! Yum! Will go again and want to try their curry!

This a small, very casual Vietnamese restaurant, which seems to be always full. The prices are very reasonable - 5.5€ for a Pho. About the food... Well, I must say that I'm a big fan of Pho and go very often (not only in Berlin, in other cities too. Unfortunately not yet in Vietnam). Anyway, the Pho at Van Hoa was in itself tasty, but it was the first time that I was served a Pho without any kind of sauce (like Sriracha or similiar). That was a bit disappointing. Their teas are great. They serve big jugs of homemade tea. All in all, it was good food for very little. Next time, I'd try one of their currys - those look great! If you want real Pho, try somewhere else.

This is a total winner in P-berg -- cheap, fresh and delicious food. I love their spring rolls, the Pho is delicious and their rotating curries are YUM! Only 5 euros too. I love that they have Saigon beer and massive cups of tea. Total win all round and one of my fave places to go :)

Their Pho's the Northern Vietnamese style. Not what I'm used to but it is still delicious. Fast service and always full around dinner time.

Dig it! We ended up here after mentally flipping a coin between here and Fischladen. Fischladen won, but we wanted to try a new place. The summer rolls were good, fresh and the sauce was even better. Actually had some spice to it. The chicken, peanut, coconut milk dish we ordered was fabulous. My wife asked for a side of fresh chilies and the waitress brought back a big bowl of floating chilies in oil. Yum. Had a Vietnamese coffee that wasn't as good as the one at Kuchi, near Savignyplatz. This one was a little burnt tasting. Overall a great place and looking forward to my next visit.

Really good sauce coming with the springrolls, and crispy fresh food. Personel is a bit cold though.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and impressive service at this restaurant. We were on our way to the airport and wanted to grab a quick lunch - randomly stumbled upon this place. Among other dishes, the ones that stood out the most were the pad thai (the special for the day) and the yum yum noodles. Both had great flavor! We were in a bit of a rush and mentioned to our server that we only had about 30 minutes for lunch. She was super considerate and made sure our food came out as quickly as possible. I'd definitely recommend the Van Hoa. Lots of tasty options. It wasn`t the best Vietnamese I`ve ever had, but all in all, it was really good.

Einfach TOLL. Kleine, aber tolle Karte. Super Essen, super Geschmack.
